Flawlessness

Flawlessnes s’annonce comme une vidéo “youtubeuse beauté” dont la présentatrice propose gaiement une démonstration au cours de laquelle son démaquillage laisse apparaître ecchymoses et hématomes.
Légère au départ, la vidéo fait basculer le spectateur dans un constat de violence immédiat en contraste avec le visage angélique de la jeune femme.
L’artiste cite “Flawlessnes  est une réponse à l’émission Sabahyate diffusée sur 2M (la télévision marocaine) à l’occasion de la journée internationale de lutte contre les violences faites aux femmes, lors de cette émission, une maquilleuse montrait aux téléspectatrices comment masquer les marques de violences sur le visage.

Le projet a été initié par Mohamed Ouddaha pour le compte de l’agence JWT Casablanca, conçu et réalisé par Hind Chaouat et enfin porté et diffusé par Enti. La vidéo fait le tour du monde et remporte de nombreux prix auprès de prestigieux jury internationaux :

Flawlessnes consists in a “Youtube beauty” video whose presenter cheerfully proposes a demonstration during whichher make-up removal reveals bruises and hematomas.
Light at first, the video tilts the viewer to a statement of immediate violence in contrast with the angelic face of the young woman.
The artist quotes “Flawlessnes is a response to the Sabahyate show broadcasted on 2M (Moroccan television) on the occasion of the International Day Against Violence Against Women, during which a makeup artist showed her viewers how to hide the marks of violence on one’s face.

The project was initiated by Mohamed Ouddaha for the JWT Casablanca  agency, designed and directed by Hind Chaouat and finally worn and distributed by Enti. The video goes around the world and wins numerous prizes from prestigious international juries:
